WORK HAS BEGUN IN THE HOUSE!!!

They have started to put the kitchen cabinets in and the railings in, everything is moving along quite nicely I might add.

Part of the Gourmet Island in the kitchen.

Kitchen cabinets, nice and tall, I'm not too sure I can reach the top.  LOL

More of the kitchen cabinets.

This is the opening to the master bedroom, the banisters look good, we have the direct set banisters, beautiful even without being stained.

The stairway leading to the basement, its not stained yet but looks good.

  1. You home looks great! I am a huge lover of darker cabinets and your banisters are super awesome! We would have loved to have them installed but the price was tooooo crazy for us. It will be a DIY but yours look amazing!

    1. Thank you, I SEE YOURS is coming along as well, we opted out of the DIY for the banisters because we are doing so many other DIY projects like the media room....but yes the price is crazy. So when are you all expecting to close?

    2. We will be closing the first week of December! We hope to have more firm dates next week when we have our pre-drywall meeting. You banisters were well worth it because they look great! I will be looking forward to your other projects as well!

  2. Hi! Your house looks beautiful! We are building a Victoria Falls too and were wondering what color stain was used on your banisters. We went through Rite Rug and chose Dark Oak but aren't sure about how it will look with the balusters. Thanks!

    1. We did not like the stain choices for ours so the project manager matched the stain to our flooring.
